1978 (Z series) Honda CBX  with only 12000km on the Odo and its been fully serviced and upgraded
 
DISCRIPTION :
 
This CBX is the first and most disirable of its model range and because its the most pure sports bike of its era. When this bike came on the market it was already an icon and way ahead of it's time. 
 
With only around 12000km on the odo the bike is a rare find and all its components are in as new condition still after 45 years !.

The  bike was mildly restored as it did not need much, we checked the engine and the carb's needed to be rebuild.It drives and handles very good and is ready for many more miles to come.
 
The bikes looks stunning in its original silver metallic paint and all the details and emblems are in fantastic condition. This bike truelly is a rare find and with this mileage really collectible and a great investment aswell.

The 6 cilinder engine is very smooth and throttle repsonsive and this bikes is also very fast as its one of the first edition bikes with the most HP and perfect gearbox ratio.
 
These first edition CBX bikes go up in vallue and there getting very hard to find, especially in this condition. And keep in mind that this bike is TURN key ready and needs nothing. You cant compare this low mile bike with just any other bikes out there as no costs were spared to make it in this condition. 
 
If you are looking for a legitimit original bike, with no repaint and changed parts, then this must be the bike for you. Ofcourse a 45+ year old bike, even with these low miles, comes with a little wear here and there, but thats part of the charme of a survivor bike.
Its added vallue is that its completely checked, serviced and turn key ready for it's new owner. 

Many older bikes you see online are maybe in great shape, but if not driven every now and then be aware these bikes can, and will have isseus !. A bike of this caliber needs to be well maintained and driven on a regular basis !. 
 
DRIVETRAIN :
 
Factory original and matching number  1050 CC 6 Cilinder with dual overhead camshafts and 24 valves and 6 carbs. Everything was checked and the compression is still as new. Carbs were rebuild and fully tested and tuned.
 
BODY AND PAINT :
 
The frame of the bike is damage and rustfree in original black paint/coat and all the original emblems, decalls, and details are still original. The all original paint and stripes are still very nice indeed with no major isseus or damages. The wheels are still in very nice condition and so is the engine and engine alu details. Its very rare to find an all original and unpainted bike or engine block.

The  bike is equipped with a new stainless steel six into one aftermarket exhausts with STUNNING sound, and on request we also can sell the bike with its original exhausts.
