'78 Honda CBX 1000-6 Survivor!

Completely unrestored early 1978 ( delivered in Holland ) Honda CBX 1000-6 in very condition in the factory original Candy red metallic paint . The bike is numbers match and all correct.

Only 2 owners and the last owner took care of it for more than 32 years !. Low original mile bike ( 56k km ) which will get a mild restoration. The engine is fully rebuild already and so are the carbs. This bike runs as good as new and the engine noise ( standard isseu on older CBX's) is minimal. 

The bike comes with much documentation and we believe the milage to be correct.

DISCRIPTION :

Very good original bike that is currently undergoing a restoration and can come with a VERY RARE 6-6 exhaust system or on request original style exhausts.

DRIVETRAIN :
 
Factory original 105+hp edition and matching number 1050 CC 6 cilinder 4 stroke engine with dual overhead camshafts and 24 valves and 5 speed transmission.

The engine is still stock 0 bore original, but rebuild with NOS components with new pistons, rings, new bearings, new clutch, new camchain, heads rebuild and gearbox equipped with new seals and fully serviced and checked. Carbs were also rebuild and all was serviced, valves set and checked, clutch done with new plates & compression tested.

The bike can be sold with the RARE 6-6 exhausts with STUNNING sound or a new original style system on request.
 
BODY AND PAINT :
 
The bike will receive a complete new, factory correct paintjob in Candy Glory metallic red, with factory stripes and decalls. Frame is also repainted and some other details are done.
