Completely unrestored very early 1978 ( first deliverd batch in Holland ) Honda CBX 1000-6 in fantastic and great condition. in the factory original paint: Candy red metallic. The bike is numbers match and all correct.

DISCRIPTION :
 
Very clean and undamaged, well maintained CBX as you dont see very often and thats fully serviced and turn key ready ! for sale in our shop.
 
So dont confuse this great original CBX's you can see for sale online as most of the times these bike's are not turn key and will need a lot of work and testing to make them driveable. And these CBX's eat money and loads of time for breakfast as far as parts and maintanance goes if the are not taken care of. But when the are good, the are very reliable and so much fun to drive !

This bike is an unmolested original and its engine is super healthy and runs and drives great. It's a 2 ( officially 1) owner bike that was sold and deliverd new in Holland with the first batch that Honda supplied worldwide.
 
These early bikes just had a bit more punch than the later versions and it's said the would have more than 110hp. Just a great example and a real nice bike for show and driving. Not overrestored or changed.
 
Well maintained CBX's are very reliable  and strong -well build motorcycles that can easily run 250000 miles or more without any major isseus or rebuilds !.
 
 
DRIVETRAIN :
 
Factory original 105+hp edition and matching number 1050 CC 6 cilinder 4 stroke engine with dual overhead camshafts and 24 valves and 5 speed transmission. The engine is completely stock original but in great condition, carbs were rebuild and all was serviced, valves set and checked, clutch done & compression tested. The bike has new factory correct style exhausts.

BODY AND PAINT :
 
ALL ORIGINAL IN AMAZING 45+ year old condition.Original wheels, frame, gauges, seat, paint, and... all stock!The paint ofcourse has some little wear, but nothing major. The gastank is great and clean inside, no rust anywhere.
