(SOLD) 78' Honda CBX 1000 Survivor

original ! very early 1978 ( first series) Honda CBX 1000-6 in fantastic and great survivor condition. Don't confuse this bike with just any second hand CBX as most dont run and drive and are not completely checked and serviced.
 
The Early first CBX versions ( 78 build & sold) had around 115+hp instead of the later 105 and these engines are really faster and run more smooth than the later bikes.
This bike IS in great all original condition and runs fantastic !, no rust anywhere and all components are stock and in great almost as new shape. The wheels are undamaged aswell. Very RARE !
 
Only 21k miles / 35k  km on the odometer !
 
The bike was sold new to a very famous Dutch television presentor ! and was found with its second owner in amazing original condition.
 
 We fully serviced the bike, rebuild the carbs, fresh oils and plugs, new chain and sprockets, new brakes and brakelines, valves cheked and lash is set.  The bikes runs better than new ! and has NO clutch chatter ( a CBX famous weak spot), it picks up really good.
 
The paint is original, and still has a great shine, but the tank has a very small dent. * SO on request we can sell the bike ( same sales price) with a fresh factory style new paintset !, or as is if you want all to be factory stock !. 
If you are looking for a real original low mile bike that was not restored but well maintained then this must be the bike for you as original bikes are the best and are only original once. 
This is a real great example ( if not the best) of an all original CBX with great pedigree and history.
